This sterling silver necklace features a Native American vintage pendant made by Navajo silversmith, Jason Livingston. The pendant measures 1-1/8"(l) x .75"(w) and is suspended on a 17.5" chain. Typical of vintage sterling silver, the pendant has a a nice warm patina. The pendant is sawtooth-bezel-set with one 11.5mm x 15.5mm oval bluish-black banded obsidian stone that displays an optical phenomenon known as  chatoyancy or cat's eye. The phenomena is characterized by a band of light that appears to move across the surface of the stone when rotated in reflected light.
