This beautifully handcrafted diamond solitaire ring showcases a lovely classic style and outstanding craftsmanship, meticulously created with precision and care by designer and goldsmith Niklaus Trachsel. Niklaus was regarded as a true craftsman, forgoing faster, modern processes and adhering to his old-world training of milling and handcrafting each piece of jewelry. His signature stamp in every ring represented a mark of excellence.

Crafted from solid 14-karat yellow gold, the ring is polished to a bright finish. At the center is a pear-shaped brilliant natural diamond that is securely set with six prongs, measures 8.00 x 5.50 x 4.30 mm (depth) and weighs 1.14 carats. The diamond is of H-I color and VS2 to SI1 clarity.

An additional .47 carats of diamonds accent the ring design, twelve tapered baguette diamonds and six round brilliant diamonds, split evenly along the sides. Nearest to the pear-shaped brilliant diamond are six channel-set tapered baguette diamonds that measure 2.40 x 1.30 x 1.11mm(depth) and weigh .32 ctw. Next are three channel-set round brilliant diamonds that measure 1.90 x 1.90 x 1.14mm (depth) and weigh 0.15 ctw. The accent diamonds are well-matched with H-I color and SI clarity. The ring has been well cared for and is in excellent used condition.
