This stunning 14 karat yellow gold purplish red rubelite tourmaline and diamond ring features a brightly polished finish and an asymmetrical design. The ring is set with one 12.30 x 9.30 x 7.00mm oval shaped tourmaline gemstone that due to the predominant red component of the color is classified as a highly desirable rubelite tourmaline. The rubellite variety of tourmaline is considered one of the more valuable of the tourmalines due to its rarity, color and beauty. This gemstone in particular has been graded for color and clarity as slightly included, type II, and moderately purple red (Munsell 5RP 5/10).

Accenting the ring are six round brilliant diamonds measuring 1.6mm - 1.8mm in diameter. The diamonds are of H-I color, SI-1 clarity, and weigh .10 carats. They are positioned three on each side of the gemstone in flush mount settings.
